AGENDADAS FOR ALL CLASSES FOR JULY, 13, 2007

Period 1 and 3, Senior Comp/Project Class:


1. Group work: Students, working in groups, will practice speaking their autobiographies to group members in preparation for speaking to the whole class next week. This first speech should last a minimum of one minute. Students who have already prepared may give their one minute speeches.

2. Printed reflection essays will be collected for grading and will be returned so that they may be retyped on Wednesday in the Library.

3. We have not received our Vantage schedule as of today.

4. You will have an assignment in Writers Choice since we have not received the Senior Project pamphlet yet.



Period 2, Honors 11Th English using the AP curriculum:

1. Students who failed to turn in their quickwrites on "The Iroquois Constitutiond" and The Declaration of Independence" may do so at a "discounted" grade.

2. Students will read, annotate, and discuss the "The Iroquois Constitution" and "The Declaration of Independence" in preparation for an in-class essay comparing and contrasting the two documents.

3. Students will be reminded of the quizzes for Monday on Pages 968 and 975 of the textbook.

4, Students will be assigned study of Pages 969 and Column Two of Page 975 for quizzes on Tuesday of next week.

5. Should the Bedford Reader arrive, it will be issued.


Periods 5 and 6, Americal Lit/Comp:


1. Dictation.

2. New dictations for "grammar in context."

3. Students will continue working with Maya Angelou's poems.

4. Students will be assigned Literary terms to study for testing next week

5. Vocabulary assignments will be made for testing next week.
