Information for all classes for Thursday, July 5, 2007:
If all goes well you shall have your textbooks tomorrow. If this be the case, books will be issued. Senior Comp. classes will receive a pamphlet.
Periods 1 and 3, Senior Comp:
1. Continued work with the MLA system of documentation and work citing.
2. Distribution of pamphlets for the course work.
3. Students will plan research on a topic related to their presupposed Senior Project Final Presentation.
4. Vantage and Library dates will be established.
Period 2, Honors American Lit:
1. MLA information will be annotated.
2. If available, books will be issued.
3. Literary terms will be assigned.
4. Grammar sections will be assigned.
5. Standard vocabulary lists will be assigned.
6. The semester's reading list will be announced.
7. If time permits, the dictations for Friday will be written on the board, copied by the students, and annotated for punctuation, grammar, word choice, cognates, context clues, syntax, root words, prefixes, suffixes and other pertinent issues in the texts for dictations.
8. Vantage and Library dates will be established.
Periods 4 and 5, 11Th Grade American Lit.
1. MLA information will be annotated.
2. If available, books will be issued.
3. Literary terms will be assigned.
4. Grammar sections will be assigned.
5. Standard vocabulary lists will be assigned.
6. The semester's reading list will be announced.
