INFORMATION FOR ALL CLASSES DURING "B" TRACK BREAK

Periods 1 and 3, Senior Project/Senior Composition:

1. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHOSE SENIOR PROJECT HAS CRASHED AND BURNED: You may save yourselves by going the web cite dosomething.org

2. Again, for those of you still searching for a mentor, you will find a list of safe, reliable agencies who can provide you with a mentor. You will find the list on our library web cite

3. Most of you should have your 20 hours of service signed by your mentor.

4. I have asked you to email your rough drafts of your final 8 to 12 page paper so that I can help you with them. None of you has responded. Please allow me to help you before it is too late.

5. Kudos to those of you who are taking the LACC courses, especially speech.

Period 2, Honors 11Th English using the AP curriculum:

1. You should have finished Huck Finn by now. I encourage you to research it and do the same for Bless, Me Ultima and Catcher in the Rye so that you can write and intelligent, coherent Rogerian essay.

2. You should continue to do outside reading of other serious authors. Please see my previous Blogs for some suggestions.

Periods 5 and 6, American Literature and Composition:

1. Since you have seen your grades, you must know that you have a lot of work to do.

2. On you own, the best suggestion I can give you is read, read and read some more.
