AGENDAS FOR ALL CLASSES FOR FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2007

Periods 1 and 3, Senior Composition/Senior Project:

1. Students attending a paid performance of "The Would-be Invalid," also known as "The Imaginary Invalid," will receive extra credit by bringing me a ticket stub and writing a reasonable critique of the performance. Do not tell me about the play itself, but tell me how well it was performed. You will need to write the names of the actors and the actresses, the parts they played, describe the scenery, costumes, and show that the performers achieved the desired effect of producing a slap-stick comedy. For many of you, this may be an opportunity to push that F to a D. As blogged earlier, the performances are by our Performing Arts Magnet students, at 7:00 PM tonight, Thursday, November 8, Friday, November, 9 and Saturday, November 10. There is a 2:00 PM performance on Sunday. The performances are in our auditorium and tickets are $10 for students and $13 for adults.

2. Unfortunately, many of you are chatting away your class time while I am there to help you with you research papers and oral presentations. Time is running out. I will not write your papers for you, nor can I give your Power Point presentations for you.

3. Please email you overdue essays and research paper rough drafts to me so that I will have time to read them to give you credit. I must have all overdue essays by November 16, 2007. You have had several months to write these.
