Periods 1 and 3, Senior Composition/Senior Project:
1. Report directly to your assigned presentation rooms when classes are dismissed. Do not plan to show up at the listed time of your presentation. If someone is absent ahead of you, you will be called in their stead.
2. See my previous blog for a special message to you.
3. Remember not to turn your back to the audience to read your Power Point slides.
4. Use note cards as reminders as to what you wish to say.
5. Maintain eye contact with your audience.
6. Dress appropriately.
7. Avoid slang in your presentations.
8. Maintain good posture.
9. Smile! Remember that you are not at a funeral.
Period 2, Honors English 11Th using the AP Curriculum:
1. Individual scoring of the Rogerian essays.
2. Discussion of Set #2 of Toulmin instructions from Owl of Purdue.
3. Issuance of Page 4 of Greek roots.
Periods 5 and 6, American Literature/Composition:
1. Continued close reading of "The Crucible."
2. Students act out the parts of "The Crucible."
3. Essay preparation for "The Crucible."
