AGENDAS FOR ALL CLASSES FOR WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2007

Periods 1 and 3, Senior Composition/Senior Project:

1. Friday, December 14, 2007 is the DROP-DEAD date for your research papers. I must have time to read each one carefully.

2. Please continue with your classwork in Writer's Choice,Pages 380 to 402. These pages illustrate all the errors in grammar I found in your essays and the research papers I have corrected so far. Simply copy the poorly written sentences and the corrections given by the authors. Turn these pages into me by next Wednesday for check off. I will return them to you so that you will have them in your files at home for your next English class or for college.

3. Contrary to popular opinion, the semester is not finished. You will have a final exam. Please bring your materials every day.

4. When you have finished your Accelerated Reader, let me know so that I may arrange testing.



Period 2, Honors 11Th English using the AP Curriculum:

1. Your Toulmin essays on hybrid cars will be collected on Friday, December 14, 2007.

2. Continue reading your Accelerated Reader #2. Remember to take the test.

3. More Greek roots: Lesson VI.

4. Continue to review figures of speech.

5. Review your notes on logical argumentation.

6. Do all these items in preparation for the final exam.


Periods 5 and 6, American Literature/Composition:

1. Continue taking parts in "The Crucible."

2. Review the figures of speech in the back of your text book.

3. Be prepared to correct uncapitalized, unpunctuated and misspelled dictations you have been tested on before.

4. Review all the literature we have read since July.

5. Do all these items in preparation for the final exam.
