2. You will receive packets on these topics which you will annotate for homework.
3. You will do further research on these topics in the library and on the internet on your own time.
4. You will take the Accelerated Reader test on your first foreign novel from Mrs. Campbell's list on or by January 24, 2008.
5. Select your second Accelerated Reader from Mrs. Campbell's list. Make sure your selection is not by an American author. The next test will be take in three weeks.

1. Students will study American Literature written after 1900 according to the Pacing Plan Draft of 2007.
2. Students will master literary analysis. (State Standards 3.3 to 3.9)
3. Students will master writing. (State Standards 1.2 to 2.3)
4. Students will learn figures of speech.
II ADMONITIONS:
1. Students will attend daily and be on time.
2. All outside essays must be submitted in New Times Roman double-spaced font size 12.
3. All essays must be spell checked and grammar checked. Unchecked essays will be returned as fails.
4. All essays submitted by email must be sent on Microsoft Word so that you may use Spell Check and Grammar Check and must be New Times Roman double-spaced font size 12.
5. Assignments not done or partly done owing to absence or tardiness will count heavily.
6. If you are absent, read the blog and call a classmate for details.
