AGENDAS FOR ALL CLASSES FOR THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2008

ALL STUDENTS WILL TAKE THE ACCELERATED READER TEST ON OR BEFORE FEBRUARY 14, 2008.

PLEASE SELECT ANOTHER TEXT AND BEGIN READING. WORLD LITERATURE STUDENTS MUST SELECT A BRITISH OR FOREIGN BOOK OR PLAY.


Periods 1 and 3, World Literature:

1. Students will finish the essay on ironies in "The Wife of Bath's Tale." Students will take the essay home and polish it in preparation for typing.

2. If time permits, parts will be chosen for student reading of Oedipus Rex.


Period 2, Honors 11Th English using the AP Curriculum:

1. Review of questions and answers in Cliff's AP text, Pages 89 to 92.

2. Students will begin annotation of the "Naturialism in American Literature" handout. It will be collected tomorrow.

3. Students will continue to research the topic of the Toulmin essay on their own time.


Periods 5 and 6, American Literature/Composition:

1. Students will read Page 585 and write a brief summary of the information.

2. Student will read, individually or in pairs, the story, "Winter Dreams," Page 586
