ADVISORY:
1. CHOOSE TWO STUDENTS TO CLEAR THE CORRIDOR OF TRASH. THIS IS THE FOCUS OF OUR ADVISORY. THE STUDENTS MUST HAVE A PASS.
2. PASS OUT ANY MATERIALS FOR ADVISORY STUDENTS AND IF THERE IS WORK TO BE DONE ON THOSE MATERIALS, PLEASE DO IT.
AMERICAN LITERATURE AND COMPOSITION, PERIODS 2, 5, AND 6:
1. CONTINUE TAKING ROLES IN THE CRUCIBLE.
2. STUDENTS WILL MAKE SAY/MEAN/MATTER ANNOTATIONS AS THE ROLE TAKING PROCEEDS.
EXPOSITORY COMPOSITION:
1. CONTINUE READ AMY TAN'S "MOTHER TONGUE" IN WRITER'S CHOICE, STARTING ON PAGE 310. STUDENTS WILL COME TO THE FRONT OF THE ROOM TO READ THE PARAGRAPH OR TWO ASSIGNED BY THE GUEST TEACHER. THIS IS PRACTICE TO IMPROVE THE STUDENTS' ABILITY TO SPEAK IN FRONT OF THE SENIOR PROJECT JUDGES. STUDENTS WILL AIM FOR GOOD POSTURE, EYE CONTACT, AND VOICE PROJECTION.
2. READ PAGE 316 TO PREPARE FOR THE COMPARE/CONTRAST ESSAY ASSIGNED ON THAT PAGE.
