AGENDAS FOR ALL CLASSES FOR FRIDAY, JULY 27, 2007

Periods 1 and 3, Senior Comp/Senior Project:


1. All Letters of Intent must be handed in TODAY.


2. The one-minute in-front-of-class autobiographical speeches will be given today. Those unprepared or unwilling to speak will receive a "0" on this assignment.


3. The Definition Essay will be collected next Friday.



Period 2, Honors 11Th English using AP Curriculum:


1. Figures of speech quiz.


2. Vocabulary quiz.


3. Cornell Notes on the life and works of Mark Twain.


4. Reading, annotation and discussion of "The Lottery" in The Bedford Reader.


5. By Monday, you should have read at least 100 pages of Huck Finn



Periods 5 and 6, American Lit/Comp:


1. Period 5 students will be tested on Page 970 and Column 1 of Page 976.


2. Owing to poor attendance period 6 did not take the CELDT test and; therefore, will take the figures of speech quiz on Monday, Pages 970 and Column 1 of Page 976.



1. Owing to poor attendance in period 6, Thursday's CLEDT testing has been postponed until today.


2. Period 6 students will take the quizzes on Pages 970 and Column 1 of 976 on Monday.


3. For both periods new figures of speech and vocabulary assignments will be made. They are Page 971 all and 976, Column 2.


4. New text book assignments will be made.
